Lawson Names One Systems Group Ltd. as reseller in the United Kingdom
LONDON, July 2, 2007 – Lawson Software today announced a new partnership with One Systems Group Ltd. Under the new agreement, One Systems Group will be an accredited channel partner, selling and integrating Lawson’s full suite of M3 enterprise software applications, designed for companies in manufacturing and distribution.
One Systems Group is based in the U.K. with offices in York and London. As with Lawson, One Systems Group supplies technology solutions to manufacturing and distribution firms, focusing primarily on firms in the food, textile and fashion industries. With a team of experienced sales, implementation, training and support personnel, the company targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). One Systems Group currently has approximately 400 customers in the U.K.
“We are exited about the opportunity to offer existing and prospective clients the best of both worlds – a capable, user-friendly, proven enterprise software solution and a support team that can provide dependable, professional and personal service,” said Gil van der Sluis, marketing manager for One Systems Group. “Our customers will have greater peace-of-mind knowing that transitions should be smooth and that we can deliver technology that is designed to better accommodate future needs.”
According to the Department of Trade and Industry, the SME market comprises 1.2 million businesses, employing 56 percent of the U.K. workforce and is accountable for half of the £2.4tn sales of all companies in the country. This diverse market is an increasingly important user of technology.
“After a sustained period of growth, many companies that fall into the SME category may feel that their existing systems are no longer capable of maximising productivity and profitability,” said Fady Sfeir, vice president of sales for Lawson in EMEA. “Together with One Systems Group, we will provide the market with a suitable and realistic upgrade path to help them reach their business goals.”
One Systems Group will provide Lawson M3 customers in the U.K. with support in software localisation, implementation, training, maintenance, support and IT and business consulting.
