ProHealth Care Selects Lawson Talent Management

Integrated suite will help Wisconsin-based health system identify and retain top talent

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2008--Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) announced today that ProHealth Care, based in Waukesha, Wis., selected the Lawson Talent Management Suite, part of the Lawson Strategic Human Capital Management System. ProHealth Care, an existing Lawson customer, will use Lawson Talent Management to better identify talent within its organization, improve recruiting and automate compensation processes through a single, integrated system. The contract was signed during Lawson's fourth quarter of fiscal 2008, which ended May 31, 2008.

Lawson Talent Management combines a global core human resources system with strategic human capital management functionality, including new features to help companies manage talent acquisition, incentive compensation, employee performance, learning and development, and succession planning.

Founded in 1914, ProHealth Care is a regional critical and primary care provider with nationally recognized programs and physicians, and ranks among the most technologically and clinically advanced community health care systems in the country. Its integrated health network includes Waukesha Memorial, a tertiary care hospital; Oconomowoc Memorial, an acute care hospital; 28 ProHealth Care Medical Centers and Medical Associates locations; home health care and hospice services; assisted and independent living communities; and West Wood Health and Fitness Center. ProHealth Care's comprehensive services include a Neuroscience Center; Regional Cancer Center; Heart Center; CyberKnife Center; level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit; Center for Breast Care; Women's Center; and Orthopedic Center.

"Our workforce needs are constantly changing and we face the ongoing challenge of making sure we have the best people in the right roles within our organization," said Nadine Guirl, senior vice president of Human Resources for ProHealth Care. "Lawson Talent Management will help make it easier for us to attract and retain the best people to support our organization's goals, while also helping us identify and develop emerging leaders. These are among the most significant challenges confronting the HR side of the healthcare business."

Lawson Talent Management is designed to help organizations become more strategic about their hiring and overall talent management activities. The new suite will help ProHealth Care better track applicants, which will help improve information management, reduce hiring time, and deliver a more streamlined application experience. Managers also will have tools to track individual benchmarks and performance based on organizational objectives, which ultimately helps them be more strategic about how they develop their workforce.

"Lawson Talent Management gives organizations like ProHealth Care greater insight into the talent that exists within their own walls and within the mountain of job applications that are processed every year," said Larry Dunivan, senior vice president of Global Human Capital Management Products for Lawson. "This helps organizations align their people with their business objectives."
