Lawson Signs New Contract with Poltarex



Polish wood manufacturer to implement the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System

WARSAW, Poland, February 19, 2008 – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) today announced it has signed a contract with Poltarex Sp. z o.o., a timber processing company based in Lebork, Poland. Polartex, which owns a chain of sawmills, will implement the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System in its headquarters and six plants. The implementation will include Lawson Business Intelligence and Lawson M3 Yield Optimizer. The unified Lawson solution will support 100 users and will run on an IBM i5 platform. In addition Poltarex has signed up for the Lawson Total Care Bronze program, which provides software support and maintenance services. The contract was signed during Lawson’s second quarter of fiscal year 2008, which ended Nov. 30 2007¬.

The Lawson M3 solution will help Poltarex manage key business processes more effectively and allocate resources more efficiently. “The Lawson solution is tailored to manufacturing companies and supports specific needs of our industry,” said Marek Kubiak, CEO for Poltarex. “We anticipate the Lawson M3 solution will support our business and help us remain competitive in this fast evolving market, and help us deliver more timely and accurately to our clients.”
