Service/Preventive Maintenance Introduction (e)
This is a two-day course, which is designed to people who want to start working with service management in order to provide the optimal availability and technical lifetime of facilities, buildings and equipment at the optimum cost.
Any maintenance department or service provider faces two key challenges: To ensure the highest possible reliability, availability and safety, and to do this at the lowest possible cost. These factors seem to be in contradiction with each other. However, they must be evaluated together in order to achieve an optimal maintenance program. Preventive Maintenance contains a number of tools that are used to define the various services and modifications that can be carried out on a position, equipment or item, whether in operation or in stock. Services within the preventive maintenance system can be both scheduled and unscheduled. Unscheduled services can be triggered manually when required. By relating services into a structure, larger services or maintenance blocks can be developed.
