Outbound Logistics - Dispatching Goods (e)




This one-day course enables you to get the most out of the outbound logistics (sub) process by using Lawson M3. You can configure the dispatch handling functionality to the requirements of your company in order to achieve a smooth and efficient flow of goods out of the warehouse. The delivery toolbox is the fully configurable cockpit for all dispatch planning and execution. Offering both shortcuts and sequenced links to all dispatch related functions, it helps you streamline your entire dispatch flow.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the main functions of the warehouse dispatching department and how those functions are supported by Lawson M3.

The course covers:
· The concept of outbound logistics and the functionality available
· The dispatch processes
· The significance of the delivery number
· The power of the delivery toolbox
· How to dispatch distribution orders by delivery number; pack goods before you dispatch; influence the sorting of picking list lines; dispatch by wave; dispatch by shipment using manual shipment assembly.

Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who work with supply chain execution who either are new to outbound logistics (dispatch) or who require an overview/refresher.

To fully benefit from this course, we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
