This one-day course explains how you can get the most out of the general ledger by using Lawson M3. General Ledger is a comprehensive application for enhancing financial control and reporting, as well as information access and collection throughout your entire enterprise, locally or worldwide. A flexible chart of accounts, accounting calendar, posting options and information views are all featured in the application.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you to understand the main functions of the general accounting department and how those functions are supported by Lawson M3.

The course covers:
· The concept of the accounting system and the functionality available
· The accounting system processes
· How to perform daily, periodic and yearly routines
· How to verify general ledger transactions and perform reconciliations
· How to monitor performance using inquiries and printed reports.

Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who work with financial accounting who are either new to general accounting or who require an overview/refresher.

To fully benefit from this course, we recommend that you have:
· A basic understanding of Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· A basic understanding of Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it
· Successfully completed Financial Management Introduction.
