Can Lawson Furniture Handle Trim Optimization?
Yes, Lawson Furniture can process trim patterns for both planning and production feedback reporting, but it doesn't contain any trim optimization functionality. Instead you use Lawson Furniture to select the orders for joint production and send these to an external trim optimization system.
After optimization, the selected pattern is returned to Lawson Furniture and used as input to create a manufacturing order.
If the trim optimization system is not used, the pattern can be keyed directly into Lawson Furniture.
