Fashion Designer allows creation of true-to-scale, detailed line sketches using specific drawing tools. You can both create and update product sketches easily, which minimizes communication and production errors while improving design accuracy.

Fashion Designer is a set of vector drawing tools based on the AutoCAD engine. Drawings are made to scale on mannequins with automatic dimensions. A stylebook provides standard snap-together sketch components. Sewn-good specific tools such as stitching, pleating, ribbing and shirring allows sketching to be done faster. You can add notes in the form of text or exportable notes. Once exported, you can use the notes in Product Manager on the construction forms.

Sketches can be filled with patterns or the color module can be used to apply colors, prints and patterns onto the sketch. These colored versions can be exported and used throughout any of the Lawson for Fashion PLM modules.
