Lawson Appoints New Senior Account Executive
Sydney, Australia, 23 July 2008 – Lawson Software, a global provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, today announced the appointment of Chris Moffett as Senior Account Executive to support Lawson’s growth strategies across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Based in Melbourne, Moffett will be responsible for generating new business sales in Australia across key distribution industries including industrial equipment, automotive, and general manufacturing.
A key priority for Moffett in his new role will be to ensure companies within industries looking to upgrade or implement a new ERP system seriously consider Lawson as a viable alternative to other solutions. "Lawson offers industry leading functionality on a modern, cutting edge technology platform that delivers rapid and tangible returns on investment,” he said.
A native of Canada, Moffett brings over 10 years’ IT industry experience to Lawson with six of these working closely with ERP applications. Most recently he was with US-based Tectura Corporation where he worked in Canada as an account and business development executive. Before this, Moffett held a senior account executive position with Abacus Enterprise Solutions where he drove award winning and consistent growth in Canada. He also worked with IBM company, LGS Group, as an e-business solutions sales executive on CRM, data warehousing and e-commerce solutions.
