Norton Healthcare is Louisville's leading healthcare provider with some of the most advanced technologies and well-trained physicians, nurses, and staff. The company wanted to make the most of existing resources, solve day-to-day IT problems with a limited IT staff, and build applications that would help streamline daily operations. Norton Healthcare chose to participate in testing for Lawson Marketplace, a simple option for enterprise software users to purchase low-cost, add-on applications to help increase productivity. They were able to save two days of programming time, download the Zip Plus 4 application in 15 minutes and had users up and running shortly thereafter, and eliminated manual research and entry of some data.
