Verstegen Spices & Sauces BV

A subsidiary of Verstegen Holding, Verstegen Spices & Sauces BV has been in the business of producing and distributing spices and sauces for various markets - retail, food service and food industry customers - for more than 100 years. Its main supplier is its sister company Verstegen International, a worldwide trader of high-quality raw materials including spices, condiments and dried vegetables. Dutch Protein & Services (DP&S), another of Verstegen Spices & Sauces' sister companies, is a supplier of coatings, injection and tumbling mix, and thickeners.

Based in Rotterdam, Verstegen Spices & Sauces is still a family-run company. It has sales offices in the UK (Harwich) and in Belgium (Mechelen) as well as having partners in Germany and Ireland. The company has approximately 280 employees and an annual turnover of EUR 45 million. Two of its main customers are Albert Heijn and Schuitema. Its main competitors are companies such as Silvo, Ducros (McCormick) and Remia.
