Swire Oilfield Services

Swire Oilfield Services is part of the Swire Group which operates internationally. The main focus of its activities is in Asia (in particular mainland China and Hong Kong), as well as in Australia and North America.

The group’s involvement with Swire Oilfield Services started in 1979 when it took over the Aberdeen-based company, EPD Containers and Supply Ltd. The name was changed in 1998 to Swire Oilfield Services to more accurately reflect the services the company provides to the offshore industry in Europe and elsewhere. This includes offshore transport container rental and sale; offshore chemical transport tank rental and sale; chemicals management; and helifuel management.

The company’s main territory remains in Northern Europe where Swire operates from eight bases, in addition to partners located in Denmark and the Netherlands.
