Konsum Värmland

Konsum Värmland is a local, free-standing, association that is owned by its own members (approximately 129,000). The business activities are run from a sales office located in the Värmland region. The main office and committee is located in Karlstad. Konsum Värmland also runs their own provisions industry in the form of a meat processing factory, bakery, distribution center, and transportation center. The association has around 1,800 employees and sales have increased during 2006 to EUR 360 million. Värmland belongs to one of Sweden’s strongest cooperative holdings and the association now finds itself in a very aggressive and expansive period.
