Groupe Jacquet

A breeder and producer of plant varieties, the independent cooperative group Limigrain sells seeds to farmers, market gardeners and home gardeners. Established in 1942, Limigrain Group has broadened and adapted this know-how to the market for food ingredients, and boasts 6,000 employees and EUR 1.074 billion euros in sales. With Pain Jacquet, Limigrain is the second largest industrial baker in France. Jacquet Group produces packaged breads, 89 percent of its production, and crisp breads, the remaining 11 percent. In 2005, Jacquet Group employed 699 people, with revenues totaling EUR 115 million.
