DOC Kaas is an important cheese manufacturer located in Hogeveen, the Netherlands and employs 150 people. DOC Kaas is owned by a farming cooperative and produces approximately 60 million kilograms of cheese per year for third parties such as Fresh Support, Cheese Partners Holland, Anker Kaas and Westland. DOC Kaas produces both natural cheese and sheeted cheese (either square or round), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DOC Kaas wants to double its capacity in five years and, for that purpose, is building a new factory that will have about 2.5 times the capacity of the current factory.
