Community Unit School District 300

Carpentersville Illinois is home to one of the largest and fastest growing K-12 school districts in the United States. Just northwest of Chicago, District 300 employs over 3,000 full- and part-time employees, covers over 122 square miles and includes 25 schools. They are opening a new high school (for 2,500 students) in 2008, and are averaging one new
school per year. They add more than 500 students each year to their attendance rolls.
