Cellular Telephone Use in Automobiles

Lawson encourages its employees, temporary workers, consultants, independent contractors, business partners and other representatives to not use cell phones (whether for telephone conversations or text messaging) while driving an automobile. In fact, several cities and countries have banned cell phone use while driving (whether or not a hands-free device is used). No Lawson employee, temporary worker, consultant, independent contractor, business partner or other representative may conduct any Lawson-related business, or use a Lawson-owned or Lawson-reimbursed cell phone or cell phone service while driving an automobile, unless they comply with the state or country law in which the cell phone is being operated.

Americas-based Lawson employees should review Lawson’s Policy titled “Cellular Telephone Use in Automobile” policy located on the employee portal under the Employee Self Service section. Access ERG Policy 3.61 through the Handbook section. EMEA and APAC-based employees should refer to the applicable section of their employee handbook or contact their HR representative for more information.
