Lawson Student Activity Management is a point solution created to assist K-12 schools in tracking the collection of monies for student fees and activities. It provides a consolidated view of student activity balances and role-based security and integrates seamlessly with Lawson Enterprise Financial Management Suite, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable, as well as student information systems.
Student Activity Management has three roles based on secured access for the district controller, school bookkeeper and receipt collector.
- The controller space gives district administrators consolidated views into activity balances across all schools, the option to create journal entries for financial accounting systems and access to administrative configuration decisions.
- The school bookkeeper space allows for payments to vendors with collected monies, the deposit of receipts and the reconciliation of bank accounts.
- The receipt collector space allows for the collection of cash from students, teachers or sponsors.
The solution is simple and easy to use, as non-accountants will be assigned to several of the roles.
