Government Investigations

It is Lawson's policy to cooperate with any appropriate government investigation. If you learn about a possible or actual government investigation or inquiry concerning Lawson or any aspect of Lawson's business, immediately inform Lawson's Legal Department.

 

Specific guidelines that apply to a governmental investigation include:

  • Never destroy any documents in anticipation of a request for those documents from Lawson, a Lawson investigator or any government investigator, agency or court. Documents also includes all electronic media such as disks, CDs, and email files.
  • Never alter any historical Lawson document or record.
  • Never make any false or misleading statement to any government or Lawson investigator.
  • Never influence any Lawson employee or other person to provide false or misleading information to any government or Lawson investigator.
  • Lawson employees must comply with Lawson's Records Management Policy described under "Records Management."
